A note from TAYLOR, founder
Hi, I’m Taylor Shanklin Wilson. As a small business owner and resident of Watauga County in the High Country, I am devastated. I love our community. I love our home. I love our mountains. I have team members at our company who were born and raised in Boone, and while we are all hurting for the devastation to our home, we are also inspired by our community and how it has come together.
Get Mountain High is a clothing and accessory brand that my team and I have been working on and gearing up to launch, but we weren’t quite there yet.
Given all of the destruction and need we see in our community right now, we decided to make a pivot and get a store up and running as a means to raise funds for individuals and small businesses we know who are going to need our help.
This is going to be a long-term rebuilding effort, and we are here for it. There are many wonderful organizations in our community doing incredible relief work. We are so grateful for them. Proceeds from apparel sales will be distributed to our community and relief efforts. We are partnering with local organizations and small businesses in our community to get relief aid to those who need it most.
